Last week, Michael and I had the chance to attend the Preview Party for the opening of Cinco Ranch Total Wine & More® and browse the best wines. It’s no secret we’re wine lovers, so this was such a special treat.
If you’ve never heard of Total Wine & More®, it’s dubbed America’s Wine Superstore®. And superstore it is! The wine selection is unheard of, but they also offer spirits, beers, snack, accessories, and more. In a typical store, there are usually 8,000 wine options and 3,500 spirits.
I know what you’re thinking though. How am I supposed to choose from all that wine? If you’re ever short on time and can’t browse the aisles, you can order online and pickup at your nearest store. Amazing! The stores also host wine tastings, classes and special events. Michael and I loved browsing the smartly categorized aisles and tasting different wines at the preview party. We also loved the food, cheeses, and the incredible staff.
We’re cab drinkers when it comes to wine, and we were blown away by all they had to offer. The prices are outstanding, too! Because Total Wine has a direct relationship with some vineyards and retailers, they are able to keep their prices low. When browsing the shelves, a yellow price tag means those items are Winery Direct or Spirits Direct items. I was so excited to see all of my favorite wines at the store, too. Usually, I have to go to several different stores to find our favorites, but Total Wine will now be our one-stop-shop. Here are seven of our favorite wines.
7 OF THE BEST WINES TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION
- Francis Coppola Black Label Claret
- Frank Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
- Girard Chardonnay (my favorite white wine from Napa)
- Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Artemis
- Cliff Lede Cabernet Sauvignon
- Mascota Vineyards Unánime
- Caymus Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
Total Wine & More® is absolutely amazing, and we will definitely be back. If you’re in the Houston area, you must check it out. It’s definitely a wine lover’s dream. Be sure to check their website to see if they’re in your area.
