I’m not going to even say it. My baby. She is the biggest joy of my life, and for only one more month can I say she’s one. Just one. I don’t know what it is about saying your child’s age by the months (Only moms to littles get it. Maybe it’s because we’re trying to hold on to forever?), but I think at 2, that jig is up, am I right? So right now, she’s 22 months old. Friday she’ll be 23 months, and then it’s all downhill from there. I’ll be planning her college farewell party soon, I’m sure.
I’m going to skip the letter thing I’ve been doing the last few monthly updates, because I would be a hot mess express right now if I tried. I’ll save that for the big 2. Theatrics I do not lack. And I wonder where she gets it from.
She’s also doing pretty much all of these things still, but little lady has become quite bossy. Yes, Beyonce. Bossy. Because she is the boss.
I’m just going to throw a ton of my favorite pictures of her lately onto your screen to marvel at just how much this Little Miss Sassy Pants is growing.
Every month keeps getting better, and I always say, “No, this month is my favorite.” It’s true. My cup runneth over. Even if tantrums are involved. ;) Happy last month to be one, little love! You’re amazing, and I couldn’t be prouder to be your mama. It’s always the little things.

Odette will be 20 months old tomorrow and I still can’t believe it! I wish I could just freeze time because it’s not being kind and doesn’t want to slow down for me. Love all the pics, she’s such a cutie!!

Eeek! Isn’t it crazy? Time used to go by like molasses when I was single. Now it can’t go slow enough! It’s amazing to watch this little miracle grow before my eyes. Best thing ever. Thanks for the sweet words, Kelly! :) And happy growing to your little O!

Yes! Really, I feel like once I had Charlotte, time just started ticking away in overtime. But it is the sweetest to watch them grow. :)
So sweet. It was so hard when my daughter turned 2 as well. The days just keep flying by. Last night we cuddled in her room before bed for a long time. I love those times with her. Ok, now I’m going to cry.
Aww, now I’m going to cry! Lol. This morning we were at one of her little music classes, and they turned the lights off for wind-down, and as she was rocking her little puppy dog (because that’s what they do for wind-down, rock stuffed animals), all I could see was her tiny silhouette swaying with her little lovie and tears started to form! Ha! Clearly, I am sentimental. Glad we can cry together. :)
She so is a two year old!! Getting so big! Isn’t it awesome watching them grow! :) wish I were there yo celebrate her big day with you guys! Xoxox

I say it every time, but she is such a cutie! :) Yes, there is something about saying their age in months that only mamas can get. I never refer to LB as being “one.” It’s always “16 months” or whatever month he’s in. I guess it keeps him being a baby longer. :)
