I’ve been making this alfredo sauce from scratch ever since we started doing Keto, and it’s the best! I vary the ingredients’ measurements slightly depending on the consistency. If you want it thinner, obviously add more cream. If you want it cheesier, leave it as is.
Always remember, the higher quality the ingredients, the better. We always use Kerry Gold Irish Butter. Don’t even try and skimp with fake butter or margarine. Bleh.
I also love making this with Palmini Pasta. People have asked if it really tastes like pasta, and no, it doesn’t. It’s a vegetable, hearts of palm to be exact. But does pasta really taste like anything? The Palmini linguine is a great substitute for pasta dishes. Cover with your favorite sauce like this one, and you’ll gobble it down. Promise. Pro tip: boil the “noodles” in water like regular pasta for an al dente texture.
