I wasn’t going to have a blog post today, but then I remembered my friends Annie and Colleen doing a fun 20 questions game, and then I saw Julie participate, so I said what the heck. I’ll do it, too. I haven’t done a fun “get to know me” post in a while, and I always love reading these. Today is also blog post 100 for the year, and since that is a milestone in itself, I figured I owed you a personal one. Welcome to my crazy for all you newbies around here!
1. Favorite food?
Tex-Mex. A Tex-Mex burrito to be exact, with a side of guacamole.
2. Flip flops or high heels?
My Tory Burch flip-flops are my jam. I rarely wear heels, unless they’re wedges. But really, I’d love it if I could wear my UGGs year round.
3. Favorite places to shop for yourself?
If money were no object, I would shop at Anthropologie and J.Crew every day. A ton of my favorite wardrobe staples are from there, along with Gap and Old Navy. And of course…dun dun dun…Target.
4. Standard coffee order?
Grande, non-fat caramel latte. And I say “car-a-mel.” How do you say it?
5. Road trip must-have snack?
I’m not a snacker on road trips, generally. Give me a Starbucks, and we’re good to go. But when I was younger, I had to have a bag of Pork Rinds and a soda. Yuck.
6. DIY or hire it out?
For simple things, like birthday parties, DIY. For home improvement projects? Hire it out for sure.
7. Top 5 TV shows?
On air still and no longer with us (RIP, old faithfuls): The Walking Dead, Scandal, Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge, Breaking Bad, and The Newsroom. (That was six, but I’m bad at math.)
8. Favorite book?
The Shack. Read it if you haven’t already!
9. Favorite form of exercising?
Running in cool weather, which means I’ve been on an exercising hiatus for the last several months. Ugh. (But I wrote about running a half marathon. I really do miss it. Fall, where are you?)
10. How tall are you?
A tall 5 foot, 2 inches.
11. Do you try something new at restaurants or stick to your favorites?
I’m a creature of habit. If it’s a favorite restaurant, I stick to my favorite. Duh.
12. One makeup item you can’t live without?
13. What’s on your nightstand?
A few books, a lamp, my iPad, my Nook, a notebook, my baby monitor, and my chargers.
14. What’s one thing motherhood has taught you?
Life is brutiful.
15. Music that reminds you of high school?
90s alternative, Eminem, The Spice Girls, Staind, Dr. Dre, The Foo Fighters, and any bad hip hop.
16. If you could live anywhere in the world besides your current city, where would you live?
Kauai. Preferably Princeville.
17. Tell us something about you we might not know.
You might not know these 25 things about me.
18. Websites you read/browse (besides blogs)?
Facebook and clothing sites. Everything else is a blog of some sort.
19. Morning person or night owl?
Night owl, but the older I get, the more I just want to go to bed at a reasonable hour.
20. Favorite breakfast meal?
A breakfast buffet. You know the kind? Where you get to create your own omelet and there are fresh waffles for you? Yes, that is my favorite.
And that’s a wrap folks!
I sure do hope you stick around a while. And whatever you do today, may you spread around a little cheer doing it. Be blessed!
Let’s keep in touch, shall we?
You can see where I’m linking up on this page.

Loved reading your 20 questions! We like quite a few of the same shows! Please tell me you’ve watched Fear the Walking Dead (yes, I know I already asked you! lol)! We watched it last night and it was really great!

Thanks, Colleen! Because of you, we started watching Fear the Walking Dead, and we are loving it! Isn’t it great? It definitely makes waiting for TWD a bit easier. Did you watch Wayward Pines? I don’t know if they’ll be bringing it back, because it was a short summer series, but it was really good. If you need something to add to your binge watching, add that. ;)

Thanks, Tiffany! It was fun and quick to do. :) I miss cold weather running. I hope it’ll cool down soon enough, so I can start up again! Hope you’ve been well, my dear!
