Are y’all enjoying the summertime as much as we are? I hope so! It seems like every day and every weekend is filled to the max with fun activities and lots of fun in the sun. Here in good ol’ South Texas, it’s been plenty hot, so we love our A/C and indoor adventures, but outdoor water activities help beat the heat, too. Because it’s summertime, that meant it was time to revamp our wardrobe (mostly for the ever-growing little babe), and we also have found some new favorites to help us enjoy the summer a little bit better, too. Here is what we found and are loving (each coordinating number below the pictures will take you to a new page with each item’s purchasing info):
Thankfully, Charlotte is completely fortunate to have so many wonderful relatives in her life who love to spoil her. She recently had an amazing mail day which totally blew me away. We have fallen in love with some new shops (and of course, we’re still loving our old tried and true ones, too), so we were super thrilled to see what the mail man brought us. Behold, our Sugar Bit finds.
If you’ve been following us here on the blog, Instagram, or Facebook, you should know by now that we are absolutely head over heels for Sugar Bit! (Wednesday’s post was full of pictures with Charlotte in some of her new clothes from this new shop.) I cannot say enough about this new, online children’s boutique. Sugar Bit was created by Natasha from the Hello! Happiness blog (one of my favorite bloggers by the way). Shopsugarbit.com has the best assortment of children’s clothing and gifts I have seen. The shop also features super sales, super fast shipping, and THE best customer service. I mean, look at the sweet note below that was sent with our purchase. If you are new to Sugar Bit, go to their website (here), and follow them through Facebook to receive a discount code for your first purchase. You won’t regret it. (I’m sure you’ll be seeing plenty more Sugar Bit goodness from us in the future. ;))
Next up is the revamp of Charlotte’s swimsuit selection. Like I said, we are constantly in the water, whether that be for swimming lessons or just out in the back yard for some splash pad fun. So thankfully, my little Char Bear was able to score some new bathing suits from Old Navy from her aunt. Sweet!
So far, we’ve tried on the pink bathing suit, and it received rave reviews from Charlotte’s swim instructor (and from myself as well). We’ve also tried the coverups, and they are darling, too. I’m so excited about not having to worry if a bathing suit is washed now. We have plenty to choose from!
Then Charlotte’s Grandma sent us a nice little surprise with two outfits and a new bathing suit from Carter’s. Carter’s of course has been one of our favorite shops since Charlotte was born. I absolutely love what Grandma sent.
The coral color shorts with the white shirt set is absolutely adorable on, as is the dress. I have a similar dress, and I of course had to be that mom and match my little babe. The hubs thought I was crazy. Note: This Carter’s brand bathing suit is sold-out on Carter’s website, but I was able to find it on JC Penney’s website.
After all of that mail goodness Charlotte received, it had me thinking that I needed a few things myself. Mama needed a small revamp to her closet as well. Anthropologie, one of my favorite stores in the universe, recently held a 20% off sale of already on sale merchandise. If you hurry you can still catch it with the code BUZZ20. A sale on top of a sale? Sold. These blouses were my Anthro sale finds. I am in love with them.
And since we find ourselves to be in the pool every week thanks to swimming lessons, Mama needed a new swimsuit, too. Enter that striped beauty from Target. I have a hard time spending a ton of money on bathing suits, so Target did it again and came through with this gem.
Last but not least, here are a few favorite things that I just have to share with y’all, since we’re in the business of sharing what we love today.
1) I have been searching high and low for a straw sippy-cup that doesn’t leak. They’re impossible to find. But this Contigo brand water bottle pretty much fits the bill. I am not afraid to put it in my purse/baby bag, and when Charlotte throws it like most 16 months do (please tell me they all do this), it doesn’t leave a huge mess. It is great. She’s still getting used to the fact that it has no handles, but she’s adjusting quickly. 2) I’m still waiting for this to come in the mail but it should arrive today. However, I’m already believing that this will be one of our favorite things because we do road trips quite often. And let’s not forget that Charlotte loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the iPad for road trips. I am banking this to be a favorite because this little iPad Car Mount Holder will save me from having to hold the iPad myself when traveling. Woohoo! 3) This little Splish Splash Pad was given to Charlotte by one of her aunts who found this great little masterpiece at HEB (the best grocery store in Texas for my non-Texas readers), and it has quickly become one of Charlotte’s favorite outdoor activities. She can’t get enough of it. It’s even shown up on the blog (and Instagram and Facebook) a couple of times, so I figured now you all can join in on the fun if you want one for yourself. I found the same exact one sold online at Academy.
So there you have it, folks, the latest and greatest summertime finds and favorites for Charlotte and this mama right here.
What are some summertime items that you’re loving right now? Whatever you’re loving, may you be blessed with good health, happy days, and beautiful sunsets. Enjoy your weekend, friends! It’s going to be a great one.

It's a good thing I don't have a little baby girl, because would be broke. Zero extra money.
Thanks for linking up today!
