Happy Friday! Well it certainly has been a while since one of these posts, am I right? The end of summer whooshed on by, and then Charlotte started kinder and it sort of paralyzed me, and now we’re here: the end of August. So let me rewind a bit and fill you in on what’s been going on this past summer and in life in general.
JUNE
In June, there were so many fun activities! The highlights were Charlotte going to Vacation Bible School, going to Sea World, and enjoying our new back patio. It’s been incredibly hot this summer, as in record-breaking temps.

JULY
Then there was July. Whew. We did so many things in July, but we had so much fun! Highlights were going to the nail salon with sister (Charlotte), playdates with friends in the city, the kids spending the weekend with Nana, going to the Children’s Museum with Grandma, attending Create & Cultivate and experiencing the VIP treatment at the Bobbi Brown dinner, outdoor adventures with my babes, and going to the Houston Museum of Natural Science with friends.

AUGUST
August snuck up on us, and I wanted to cry like a baby as the end of the most precious time in my life was coming to end, the end of Charlotte being home with me full-time. Edit: I did cry like a baby. Highlights of the month so far have been playdates with friends, school shopping, watching Rachel Hollis’ Rise Documentary, going to see our first movie as a family (Christopher Robins), back to school haircuts for the kids (I’m still desperately waiting to cut mine!), and our weekend staycation to say farewell to summer and to celebrate Charlotte starting big girl school.

LOVING LATELY
I am still obsessed with my essential oils 9 months later after buying my first starter kit. These fall blends are the perfect solution to the toxic scented candles you probably have going in your house right now, just like I once did. I had no idea how harmful they were, and now I cringe at the thought of the harmful effects they were causing. You can do your own research on that, and then come back and chat!
I’m going to be sharing a ton more about oil and everything Young Living has to offer, because so many people don’t know about all of the different products we offer. It’s insanity! I was just telling a friend that I no longer go to Target for OTC meds, household cleaning items, vitamins, energy drinks, or candles/air fresheners. I get all from Young Living. And some people don’t even know about our pet line. Looks like I have some work to do! ;)
