I’ve been working on this blog post for the entire week, but thanks to my website not uploading photos it took a few extra days, but that is neither here nor there. HAPPY FRIDAY! We’ve made through the first full week of 2020, and despite a few bumps in the work week, it’s been a good one.
I’ve seen several bloggers share the top purchases from their blogs/Instagram, so I thought it would be fun to share what you guys loved and bought the most this past year based off of LiketoKnowIt analytics.
Here are the top 19 purchases of 2019 (excluding the Young Living Starter Kit–you guys LOVED that the most.)
+ Affiliate links used below. Thank you so much for shopping through my links! It makes me so happy knowing you like what I’m sharing. ;) Enjoy the rundown!
TOP 19 PURCHASES OF 2019
NINETEEN.
You all saw me in these more than once. I wore them to the bus stop, to Target, to sleep; they’re the best! Super soft cotton, and they run true to size.
EIGHTEEN.
Distressed Rockstar Black Jeans
You first saw these black pants in a Nordstrom sale dupes roundup. They look pricey, but they’re not. Then you saw them again this fall while I was having a blast in Salt Lake City with my friends. I love the Old Navy Rockstars so much, and now own 3 different colors/styles. These are my current fave. Runs true to size. I usually opt for the short version if available since I’m 5’2″.
SEVENTEEN.
This little blouse is the cutest! It also comes in navy & mocha mousse. It’s the perfect elevated casual top that you can dress up for work or keep it casual for errands. Runs true to size.
SIXTEEN.
If you watch Good Morning America or keep up with pop culture, you probably heard of the Amazon coat. It became super popular (viral if you will) after Arielle Charnas shared her love for this attainable Amazon coat. All the Upper East Side ladies raved about it and so did the rest of America. It’s the warmest coat I own and was a huge hit in our jackets capsule, and I’m sad I didn’t buy it sooner (as in for our March Switzerland trip). It’s fit is very generous, and I probably could have sized down.
FIFTEEN.
Sam Edelman Slip On Espadrille
These shoes came from a super fun collaboration I did with Walmart last year. They’re the cutest Sam Edelman espadrilles and I can’t wait to wear them again this spring. They’re timeless. Run true to size.
FOURTEEN.
V-Neck Midi Dress (sold out, very similar here in dusty rose)
I didn’t even buy this dress, but I should have! It was from a very brief try-on session I did at Target. Would y’all want to see more try-on sessions this year? Let me know!
THIRTEEN.
These heeled mules were another fun find this year. I love them paired with jeans, and they’ll look so cute with skirts this spring. They run a bit small, so I sized 1/2 a size up.
TWELVE.
Faux Leather Leggings (Spanx inpsired)
Another fun Nordstrom Sale look for less find. They definitely don’t have as much compression as my Spanx faux leather leggings, but they look so similar. Love them! Runs true to size.
ELEVEN.
2019 was definitely our year to fill our house with furniture. FINALLY. Our kids are at a great age to start bringing in the fine furniture. We’ve taught them rules and boundaries and how to keep things nice. Mostly. Hahaha. But really, this mirror from Anthropologie is my absolute favorite piece. We caught it on sale, so definitely hold out for one if you’re in the market. Comes in three sizes; we went with the 5 foot for above our fireplace.
TEN.
This sweater blazer is so versatile and something I’ll have forever in my closet. The color is classic, and the fit is oversized but not frumpy. Love, love, love it. Size down for a sleeker look.
NINE.
This dress was such a fun one this summer. I wore it to SLC for Young Living’s convention and then everywhere else. Runs true to size and comes in a million colors.
EIGHT
Oh, these pajamas! I shared these in the Prime Day roundup last year, and they were a huge hit with you guys. They’re soo super soft, and I have them in a couple of patterns/colors. The top runs a little big, but definitely stay true to size.
SEVEN.
This was actually my number one photo last year on Instagram, so I’m assuming it had something to do with this awesome 4 in 1 shawl vest & wrap. I even took it with me on vacation. And guess what? It’s one size fits all!
SIX.
This brand has been one you guys’ favorite since 2018. They have a maxi dress version, but this mini dress version is so flattering on everyone. I can’t wait to wear it again. Runs true to size.
FIVE.
This was another huge hit with y’all! This is actually the dupe version of the very popular Anthropologie version. I don’t wear it too often, but when I do, I always get so many compliments.
FOUR.
White Knife Set with Wood Block
This cutlery set from Amazon was super popular after I shared it in InstaStories. It’s the only place I ever shared it, and hello, fourth place?! For the price point (under $150), you really can’t beat them. I hand wash them, and they’ve held up pretty good so far. I do have to sharpen them every now and then, but they’ll do for now. I’m really not interested in spending a fortune on a knife set, you know? And they look pretty.
THREE.
Another Walmart find for the win! I truly love these jeggings. The only con I can think of is that the front pockets aren’t functional. Womp, womp. But they look and feel so high-end, that I overlook that fact. They run a bit small, so I would definitely size up one or even two sizes.
NUMBER TWO.
And we’re getting close to the top! My blue jean jacket is my all-time favorite casual jacket, and it can be worn so many ways. Maybe I’ll do my next style files video with how to wear it? Everyone needs this, and for the price? YES, LORD.
NUMBER ONE.
Levi’s 721 Ripped High Waist Skinny Jeans
Currently 40% off!!! Run, friends. These are my most beloved jeans. Size up one size as they’re 100% denim with zero elasticity–the reason I love them so much. I could truly wear them every day.
And that’s a wrap! What was your favorite thing I shared this past year? Did any of it make this list?
I am so freakin’ thankful for you guys and your support through the years. We’re rounding out to SIX YEARS of being here in this space. Can you believe it? I’m always so humbled and grateful that this is my job. Cheers to 2020!!!
