I haven’t done a Wordless Wednesday in a long time, so I figured today would be as good as ever to bring it back. I mean, I have words, but I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking. In a minute.
This past weekend, we packed up the Tahoe, baby, and pup, and headed down the Calhoun County Fair. Growing up, I have the best memories from the fair, and last year, we took Charlotte for the first time. She cried most of the time last year, but not this time. She had an absolute ball. We had so much fun with our family and friends, and it was the kind of weekend that you can’t help but smile.
It was also our anniversary, and MJM and I were able to sneak away on Friday night to enjoy a date night riding all the fair rides. Talk about feeling old, but it was so much fun, even if we did get spooked on the ferris wheel of all rides. Then Saturday, we took our precious pumpkin. I shared this on Instagram about it: “This weekend I was able to see my little mini light up at the simple joys in life. She had so much fun a the county fair, taking in the lights, riding kiddy rides in the cool fall breeze, eating the yummy sweets, and enjoying the beauty of the sweet farm animals. I’m so thankful for God’s daily reminders of innocence and His goodness, with most of these lessons coming from my sweet girl. She has no idea how much she teaches me and brings me closer to Him. May we all find joy in Him through the little things.” I am loving these moments.
Hope you’re having a happy week, friend! Take the time to enjoy the little things.
Let’s keep in touch, shall we?
