All of my makeup is clean, non-toxic, better for you makeup. Savvy Minerals is the makeup line Young Living has carefully and beautifully crafted, and their newest items, liquid foundation and concealer, are the absolute best I’ve tried. Clean Makeup Favorites
Here’s a list of everything I use and how I use it:
Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood Hydrosol – With a clean face (I’ve been loving the BLOOM three-step skincare line lately), I spritz Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood Hydrosol all over.
Mattifying Primer – Next up, I apply this mattifying primer. It really helps the makeup stick.
Savvy Concealer – Light 2 – Sometimes I put my concealer on first, but since this video, I’ve been putting on my liquid foundation first.
Savvy Liquid Foundation – Natural Beige – I use my Savvy foundation brush to put the foundation on. I was a liquid foundation newb before this one, because every time I tried a liquid foundation, I would end up hating it. LOVE THIS ONE. I either blot my face with it or put a small amount on the top of my hand, swirl my brush in it, and then apply to my face. Works like a charm. This foundation also gives your face a nice, healthy glow, which I’m a huge fan of.
Savvy Bronzer – Summer Loved – Next is bronzer! I love our bronzer; it has that subtle shimmer. I apply it like I’m drawing a number three on the side of my face.
Savvy Blush – Smashing – This color is my all-time favorite. It’s the perfect pink that looks good on everyone.
Savvy Eyeshadow Palette – Natural Quartz – I use the Blessed pearl color shadow for coverage all over my eyelids.
Savvy Mutitasker in Dark – I love this multitasker for exactly what is, and I love that I can use it for my brows & as an eyeliner. Since it is a mineral powder, I spray a little Misting Spray on the cap, and then apply. Works like a charm.
Savvy Lengthening mascara topped with Savvy Volumizing mascara – I used the regular Savvy minerals mascara before these launched this spring, and it was okay. I am now a loyalist to these two! They are amazing. I apply the Lengthening mascara first, with usually two coats, then go back and apply the Volumizing mascara.
Lavender lip balm – One can never have too much lip balm. When I’m not using my Poppy Seed Lip Scrub, I just apply this lip balm first. Also comes in other “flavors.”
Savvy Lip Luxe topped with Savvy lipstick in Mic Drop – These two combined in this order is heaven. The Lip Luxe is a thick but not sticky lip gloss. Because Mic Drop is highly pigmented yet sheer, it makes an even more beautiful effect when placed on top of the Lip Luxe.
For a long-lasting finish, I top with Savvy Minerals foundation in Warm 3 if I’m feeling extra fancy. This last part isn’t necessary but know it’s an option for a more matte finish.
Who needs to know more? Who needs this in her life? It’s my all-time favorite.
