Hey, friends!
I hope you’re all having so much fun with this style challenge. It’s become an annual favorite of mine, and this past week was the perfect way to kick off a month of easy mom style while we’re in one of the busiest months of the year. Isn’t it great to not have to think to much about what you’re going to wear each day? Takes off so much pressure. ;) I’ll share the calendar again here in case you missed it.
Here’s what I wore during the first week.
Day 1 :: new shoes
I went with my new gingham slides for Day 1. Love these! Found them on Amazon.
Day 2 :: Cami & Midi Skirt
So on this day, I had a major skirt malfunction. I cut the hem and it turned out to be a little bit shorter than a midi-skirt, so I just put on some pants. But this cami is where it’s at.
best cami (comes in 18 colors/patterns)
It goes with everything, is super flattering, and I plan on pairing it with this skirt below.
I love this skirt so much. It’s sold out (of course), but I linked a super similar one from the same brand. Definitely my favorite one right now, being that I’ve worn it about 4 times since getting it last month.
Day 3 :: classic white button down
similar overalls here / here / here
Wearing that same white blouse (that I last paired with my new favorite skirt) with overalls this time. Colin clearly thought it was impressive.
Day 4 :: blue jean skirt and tee
I didn’t really get a good picture of this outfit, but I did snap this one with my sister on the day that I wore it. There are a million combos for this one, but I kept it simple here. The skirt is old but here’s a similar one. This shirt is extremely old, too. I paired it with super fun espadrilles (the Chloe dupes seen here).
Day 5 :: fiesta ready
We always love Cinco de Mayo! We are super proud of our Mexican heritage and wearing all the bright colors is always fun. All the outfit details are here.
Day 6 :: dress and jean jacket
Probably my favorite combo of all time. I’m obsessed with my jean jacket, and for under 40 dollars, you can’t beat it!
I wore it on Day 6 while brunching and shopping at The Boardwalk on Towne Lake.
Also last seen here. Do you see how I really utilize all of my favorite things? I wear the heck out of everything I own.
Day 7 :: pretty in pastels
This outfit is a new combo. The blouse is super old from Anthropologie (similar here), but the wide-leg jeans are new from Amazon. (You can also find more sizes here.) The espadrille slip-ons are a Walmart find.
I have absolutely loved seeing you all share your outfits and using the hashtag on Instagram. Keep on using it! I’ll share everyone else’s when I can. Also be sure and check out our Pinterest board with all the styles. My awesome friends are helping contribute to that board as well.
That’s it, folks! I’ll be back next week with another recap of outfits. I’m super excited for this week’s Sunday Best. What’s the lineup looking like in your closet?
