So it looks like we’ll be spending Easter with just the four of us, but we’re not going to let that put a damper on one of our most beautiful and favorite holidays! Charlotte woke up the other day and asked me how many days until Easter. She had had a dream that the Easter bunny came and left 1,000 Easter eggs! Lol. I don’t know if the Easter Bunny will be so generous, but he’ll whip up something fun, I’m sure. ;) Colin’s only requirement was a chocolate bunny. Lolz.
I’m so thankful that Charlotte’s cherished the holiday as much as we have with her, but my heart is a little heavy that we won’t be with all of our family. Colin just goes with the flow, so as long as there’s candy, he’ll be happy.
I just placed my order with all things set to arrive at our doorstep by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. If you’re all out of ideas, hopefully these will help!
EASTER BASKET NECESSITIES
the basics
Oh my goodness, these are perfect!! My kids are going to absolutely flip. I was just going to order some regular old Easter eggs, but these are so much better. My kids love this kind of junk, and honestly, these will win the day.
I ordered two, because ain’t nobody got time for kids fighting over the egg. We plan on adding some candy and a five dollar bill.
These are my kids’ favorite, and they don’t melt. When you’re in sweltering Texas, you think about these things.
basket gifts for the little girls
50 pieces of sidewalk chalk is solid gold these days. I think I’ll add this to Charlotte’s basket, but both kids will benefit!
How cute is this polish? Charlotte is going to love it so much. I’ll definitely let her pain her own nails with this.
This LEGO Friends Heartlake City Hospital set has been on Charlotte’s wishlist for a while now, and now that hospitals are on the forefront of our minds as a place for superheroes, even more so! ThisFrozen 2 LEGO set was a close second.
Charlotte has fallen in love with the Lola Dutch series, so this newest one was a no brainer! She actually got this one when quarantine time started, but it’ll go in her basket for filler. ;)
basket fillers for the toddler boy
Y’all, Colin refuses to be potty trained even though he knows how to go on a potty. He said he’ll start going all the time when he goes back to school. (insert wide eyed emoji) So he’s going to learn today! Or soon, hopefully. Maybe these will help! The Easter Bunny said so.
The other day we were reading a Christmas search and find book, and Colin saw a plane just like this. I noted it and now this is joining the Easter basket goodness.
Who else loves Pete the Cat? Do y’all watch the series on Amazon Prime? Colin adores him, so this is going to be a fun one to read. We read holiday books year round, so we’re good here.
And last but not least, a pair of look-alike Ray Bans for both kids! This set was $16, which totally beats the name brand that are made for kids.
And that’s all the Easter Bunny wrote! How are you all doing Easter celebrations this year? Stay strong, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by!
