A couple of weekends ago, Charlotte’s Halloween costume came in from Pottery Barn. Being the planner that I am, I knew I wanted to get pictures of her dressed up in her little witch outfit as early as we could so that we wouldn’t have to worry about snapping photos come trick or treating time. Strategic planning, people. It’s what I’m all about. I have a feeling that my Little Miss Busy Body is going to be all about the candy this year, especially if it’s chocolate. Who has time for pictures when chocolate is calling your name? Last year, we only dressed Charlotte up for the fun of it and wheeled her around the house; she was dressed up as a little owl. But this year, I’m sure she’ll be all about the treats. Since she is such a ham, I’m excited to see her reaction to our neighbors filling up her pumpkin. We’ll only be going to a couple of houses around our cul-de-sac, but I’m really looking forward to it. Without further ado, here’s my precious little witch who has definitely put a spell on me.
When we took these pictures, it was a hot, humid morning. In mid October. Hopefully it’ll be a little cooler Friday night. One can hope. But this cute little witch was loving her outfit and loving being outside. Of course, she had Puppy in tow, too.
Being outside is one of her favorite things to do. Another one of her favorite things to do is running away from me. Little stinker.

Thanks goodness this week is a festive one (did someone say pumpkin patch or PJ’s?), because it’s definitely kept me distracted from all the not-so-fun stuff going on lately. Thank goodness for this little darling. She makes life so much better.

Thanks, Chelsea! I was surprised, too! She used to pull anything she had in her out of her hair, but I think she’s finally growing out of it. I think it helps that it was a perfect fit, too. That helped. And she was more interested in running around. Lol.

This year she won’t stop talking about it because of watching Charlie Brown and how they trick-or-treat. It’s going to be super fun this year! Now let’s hope she actually wants to wear her costume…
