Oh, hey, pretty friend! Today I’m partnering up with the lovely gals of Take Time for Style to give you my (postpartum) holiday mom style. There is also a $250 Giveaway to Nordstrom you can enter in their first post of the series, Moms Do Holiday Style. How exciting is that?! For the past week, and for the next week and a half, some beautiful moms have been and will be showcasing what they’re wearing this festive holiday season, and today, it’s my turn!
Now before you think I’ve done lost my mind and become a fashion blogger, let me tell you that I’m dabbling in fashion for one reason and one reason alone. That reason is to remind me of this one thing: I WILL LOVE MY POSTPARTUM BODY.
It has been so easy to stay in pajamas all day when my best accessory most days is spit up. My closet’s clothes are begging me to return, but at only three months postpartum, not everything is fitting just yet. Loving my body is not easy. It’s saggy and soft, but I’m giving myself what I preach: grace. I’m still rocking my maternity jeans and big blouses, but I do attempt to pull myself together when I can.
My Postpartum Holiday Mom Style
Last Friday, I joined my Bible study group for a night out at our church, and it was so much fun. We got to dress up, spend time in fellowship, and eat all the sweets. It was tricky coming up with something to wear, but I think I managed just fine. It also was my first time to have a Mom’s Night Out since having Colin.

I ordered this Lush ‘Perfect’ Roll Tab Sleeve Tunic blouse from Nordstrom, and it’s perfect for the postpartum mom. I paired it with my faux leather leggings and my favorite leopard print heels (high end // frugal find). Then I accessorized it with some of my new Kendra Scott pieces that I received for my birthday and a few old pieces, too.
I did my hair, and I felt pretty. I’m slowly beginning to love the new person I’m becoming, because the old me is long gone, and that’s okay.
I’m loving who I’m becoming.
