It’s that time, friends! Our first cool front has arrived, October baseball is here, and fall gatherings are happening often. Cue the fun! It’s my most favorite time of year! Now who’s ready for some fun Keto snacks & drinks?!
Michael and I have been loving the Keto way of eating lately, but that means we have to get creative when it comes to party snacks and drinks. For those of you unfamiliar with Keto, it essentially means we’ve cut out all the sugar.
That’s why I’m still loving Sparkling Ice beverages! They are bursting with real fruit flavor and contain the fun of a delicious sparkling beverage without the added sugar. Yes, please! They have definitely made the list for our Keto-approved party snacks & drinks.
The other day, we had my dad over for football games and baseball games, and our game-day spread was easy peasy and sugar-free.
Ready for it? Here’s the lineup.
KETO SNACKS & DRINKS FOR YOUR FALL GATHERINGS
BLACK CHERRY & BASIL VODKA SPRITZER
This is the easiest drink recipe ever!
- In a small glass, muddle basil & a fresh squeeze of half a lemon (for the juice).
- Add in ice to the glass.
- Pour about 1 oz. ( a shot glass) of vodka over ice & basil mixture.
- Top with Black Cherry Sparkling Ice. Watch it fizz!
- Optional: Add a splash of club soda to make it a little less sweet.
This drink will add tons of sparkle to your game day!
You can totally skip the alcohol in this drink recipe if it’s not your thing, and it will still be equally as festive.
BACON WRAPPED CREAM CHEESE POPPERS
For another Keto-friendly edition to your fall gathering, try these!
What you need:
- 6 large jalapeños, cut in half to make 12 pieces
- cream cheese (softened)
- 6 pieces of uncured bacon, cut in half to make 12 pieces
What you’ll do:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Slice the jalapeños vertically & clean the guts out.
- Fill each jalapeño slice with softened cream cheese.
- Wrap 1/2 of a bacon slice around the jalapeño & cream cheese.
- Place poppers onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes depending on size.
So yum!
GUACAMOLE & PORK RINDS
We truly are not fancy when it comes to our guacamole. We take about 3 ripe avocados, slice them, and mash them up. Add salt to taste, and that’s it. Sometimes I like to add a little garlic powder or a drop of Lime Vitality, but we keep it simple.
Since chips are off the table during Keto times, we have been loving Pork Rinds! Who knew these two things would pair so well together.
