As I was looking back through my blog posts this summer, I’m highly disappointed that I haven’t been sharing my go-to outfits, because I’m all about my everyday mom style. I’ve decided that I definitely want to incorporate more “everyday mom style” posts into Seven Graces’ blog lineup. Ready, set, go.
It should come as no surprise that my style is all about classic pieces and comfort. Most of these items have been closet staples for years. How do I make my wardrobe last that long, you ask? I don’t go crazy with the trends. This summer’s trend of crop tops will not ever find a way into my closet, as it did not find a home in my teenage closet back when it was popular in the 90s. No thank you. I stick to body grazing, loose tops, comfy bottoms, and relaxed dresses. Most of these pieces will transition well into the fall, too. (I’ll even give you the inside scoop on how I’ll be doing it.) Let’s take a look at my wardrobe, shall we?
We all know that I love pajamas. I ask for them every holiday, but I’ve really been trying to step out of these. And since I’m always honesty here, I wanted you to see what I spend majority of my days in.
Fancy. This set is my favorite. You can find the top and bottom here and here. My slippers are also the bomb dot com. You can find those here.
Another front runner as my go-to outfit is this ensemble.
I haven’t had a good workout though in weeks thanks to the Texas heat, but I am not in the camp who believes workout clothes are for working out only. Oh no. A simple white t-shirt, cropped leggings, and my favorite running shoes ever make it hard to switch things up, especially when I’m running after this little crazy girl all day, every day. But we can talk more about workout gear and pajamas later. I do try to jazz things up every now and then, which is the whole point of this post.
So what is my everyday mom style? The clothes that I go back to time and time again? The clothes that make me feel good, cover me up (I’m super modest), and make me feel pulled together?
Here are 15 of my favorite outfits this summer that have been on repeat for the last few months. It might as well be considered my capsule wardrobe. Under each outfit, I’m going to link similar options if I can’t find the exact piece, because like I said, most of these pieces are a few years old. I’ll also add in how I plan on fall-ing them up when the temps finally decide to drop in October.

I’m all about making things work for as long as they can, so you better believe, I get every bit of wear out of all my clothes. But y’all, after searching for similar items to link to of what’s in my closet and how I plan on updating each ensemble has my palm itching in a very bad way. I hope you click through to a lot of these, because there isn’t one thing that I don’t love. I must go shopping soon. Who’s with me?
What has been your go-to outfit this summer? Do you plan on giving it a fall update, too?
Be blessed, friend! Have a great one and see you here tomorrow.
Let’s keep in touch, shall we?

I love this! You’re the queen of making mom style look fabulous! Seriously, you’re always pulled together :) I’m pinning so I can reference it later when I get dressed for the day!
Kristy says
Oh thank you, Colleen! You are too kind. I don’t always looked together in my pajama pants and tank top, but I do try every now and then. It’s definitely a trait that’s been passed down from my mom and grandma. ;) Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

So… I loved the floral/stripe top and I purchased the one that you linked above. Can’t beat $17! I love your style-we are quite similar. Thanks for the post.

Yay, Gretchen! Wasn’t it cute?! I hope you love it. :) And thank you. Classic, simple, and comfy are what I’m all about. I know I’m not the only one. And you are so welcome. Glad I could help.

I’ll take one of everything, please! I love your sense of style! I was totally eyeing those adorable sandals on Monday night, too. Love this post!
Kristy says
Thanks, Meg! Clothes are my thing, just like makeup is yours. ;) If only we had an unlimited budget for our passion. I’ll be praying for that. Lol. Hope you had a great first day back at work!
Shelly @ the Queen in Between says
Such cute outfits! I really think your dimple is your best accessory though. :)
Kristy says
Thanks, Shelly! You are so sweet. I’ve been told that a time or two. ;) Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

You are too cute! And I love how you can transition everything into fall!!
Kristy says
Thanks, Liz! Yes, I always try to make sure it’s something that can transition into another season. It’s pretty easy to do since we live in a mild climate during the fall/winter. Thank goodness! It definitely makes purchases justifiable. :)
Pearls and Platters says
Cute outfits! My summer fashion looks like: yoga pants, yoga pants, nike shorts, yoga pants…
Kristy says
Thanks so much! It’s too hot for yoga pants around here, so shorts and dresses it has been. Lol. If I owned some Nike shorts, I’m sure I would have been wearing those too. ;)
