Let’s start with a confession, shall we?
Now, on to some fall favorites…

Loving…
Halloween shopping for Charlotte. Last year, we chose this little outfit from Carter’s. Adorable.
How was this already a year ago?! She was only 8 months old. Clearly, this year’s shirt should say, “Mommy is under my spell.” |
Witch Shirt // Pant Set // Skeleton PJs |
Also loving…
Everything leopard print. For Charlotte. (I LOVE leopard print for me, but this takes the cake.) This Little Leopards collection from Old Navy is too darling for words, and I wish I could buy everything. Sigh.

Reading…
At Target the other day, we found this fun Halloween book, Where Is Baby’s Pumpkin?. I had a dollar off coupon, so it went straight to our basket and then right to our living room floor, where we read books a’plenty. This book is a “lift-the-flap” book, and I’m hoping Charlotte will be gentle and not rip the flaps. She loves ripping paper these days. So far, so good.

Looking forward to…

Cooler temps, aka, jeans weather. This past weekend was the biggest Texan tease of fall weather. We all knew it was too good to be true, but the cool breeze and the 70s temperature was my love language. However, I am not looking forward to wearing closed-toe shoes again. I ended up with two of the most heinous blisters I have ever seen after wearing Tory’s shoes two days in a row. The things we do for love.
And we already know that I’m looking forward to all of my favorite TV series returning this coming week, and my DVR is ecstatic. Thank goodness for the DVR, too, because I’ll be attending my first blog conference, Blog Elevated, come this Thursday, which means I’ll be missing Olivia’s comeback. But I am so excited about the conference. :)
These are just a few of my favorite things this season. I’m sure I’ll be adding more to the list soon. What about you? What are you loving for fall?

Last weekend was a horrible tease! It did the same thing here in Oklahoma.. I am heading to Texas in the morning for a concert with my girls. I was hoping this weekend would provide another tease but it says it is going to be 90! blah! have a great weekend!

Thanks, Brittany! I love holiday festive wear. It's so much fun. :) And I can't wait to try out these cookies. Colleen always shares the best recipes! Have a wonderful weekend, girlfriend!
Sarita @ it's my girls' world says
Those carter's costumes are the best– and they last through multiple kids!!!
kristyvmoreno@gmail.com says
Thanks, Sarita! Yep, I am being a hoarder with Char's clothes. Even though I would love to have a little boy one day, I really just want to be able to use all of her clothes again on another little girl. ;)
Have a great weekend!

You know, Kris, I am seeing all of these fabulous posts about fall, and we are sitting over here in Okinawa in sub-tropical weather, lol. This will be my first year pretty much ever without a fall. Thanks for these great snippets to help remind me of life back in the states :)
kristyvmoreno@gmail.com says
Lol. Sorry, Lauren! It's not too cool over here yet. But I am happy to share the snippets for you! :)

I just started following A Mama Collective and I am enjoying the Currently posts. I want to say the pink pj's with the skeleton and the candy in the tummy was what my daughter wore last year for Halloween. They ended up being her favorite clothes for basically the entire year. I even let her wear them during the day they made her that happy! I hope your little girl enjoys it just as much!
kristyvmoreno@gmail.com says
Thanks, Charity! I hope so too. I bought them a little big. ;)
Courtney [Sweet Turtle Soup] says
I love Halloween outfits! I found that same one at my second hand store and grabbed it for Aria this year. I adore the tutu bottom. Last year we had something similar. I just wish I could find something with a pumpkin on the butt, that was my fave from last year.
The rain here is making it not so hot, but can't enjoy it you can't go outside!! Let's just go for dry and cool!
kristyvmoreno@gmail.com says
I'm hoping for that weather too! :)
