Hello, happy, peppy people! This week has been a whirlwind. So much time and so little to do… Scratch that. Reverse it. So let’s get right to what’s currently been going on.

Thinking about…
As always, my mind is filled with a million things plus one. But heavy on my heart and mind is the thought of sending my sweet baby to school, also known as Mother’s Day Out. I knew I was absolutely not ready to send her this year, and maybe that’s unfair to her. But she’s only 18 months old. However, yesterday, we went to tour the MDO program at our church, and I loved it. Charlotte loved it so much that she didn’t want to leave. We did the tour with another mama and babe, the same age as Charlotte, and by the end of it, Charlotte thought they were best friends. She waved as they left, and she even said one of her many phrases in her baby voice, “See ya later.” Of course she sounds like Scooby Doo saying it, but my goodness, it made me melt. It’s like I blinked, and she has become a big girl. The MDO program is completely full this year, so I know in my heart that it just wasn’t meant to be this year. But next year? I’m thinking Little Miss will have a blast there. I just want to keep her little for as long as I can.

Listening to…
A few songs are stuck in my head right now, all from Disney Jr. Do you think we watch too much of it? Probably so. The “DJ Shuffle” is one of Charlotte’s favorites, along with “Get Up and Dance,” and still the “Hot Dog!” song. This child dances like a mad woman when these songs come on, and it cracks me up every single time. The “Wipe Your Paws” song with the 101 Dalmatians puppies is too clever not to sing when I’m washing Charlotte’s hands, too. If these walls could talk…

Watching…
I know you’ve seen them. They’re everywhere. Yep, I’m talking about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenges that have taken over the Internet. Last night, the hubs and I watched these clips from Buzzfeed: 22 People Who Should Have Definitely Not Taken The Ice Bucket Challenge. It did not disappoint. Tears from laughing so hard. You’re welcome.

Loving…
My husband. I try to keep the talk about him to a minimum here on the blog per his request, but I think he needs a shout out. He just is awesome and needs to be reminded. He makes dinner at least twice a week, and he usually does breakfast on the weekends. He cleans up the kitchen, does the yard work, and irons his own shirts. That is my love language, people. He works so hard for us, and he is always working on his faith. Charlotte is a complete daddy’s girl when he’s around, and I’m okay with that. I love him and am so thankful that God chose him for me. The end.

Thankful for…
Blogging. It’s almost my half year blogiversary and I am so completely grateful for the amazing community I’ve discovered here in Blogland. From the friends I’ve actually met, to the ones I feel like I know even though we’ve never met in person, and to all my readers who keep coming back, I love y’all! I truly feel like this blog of mine is a calling. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started, but I love this place. We’re all in it together, sisters. And this week, I’m especially thankful for two very awesome ladies I’ve met through this wonderful Blogland, Channing and Michelle, who blog over at Moms Without Answers. (If you haven’t checked out their blog, please do! It’s highly entertaining.) We finally were able to meet up again for a mama’s night out, and it was such a blast. We went to a sushi place inside the city, and I just loved our time together. And we loved the dessert, too. Clearly.
I hope y’all had an amazing week, and here’s to an even better weekend. :)
{And in case you missed it yesterday, Seven Graces is hosting its very first giveaway with Shop Sugar Bit! Be sure to check out all the details and enter to win a pair of fabulous jammies from the boutique for your little love. Good luck!}
See where I’m linking up here.

Ps when the time comes Charlotte will do incredible at "school"… It's so hard to send them but I know I've watched Scarlett's little personality blossom through the social interaction with other children away from mama and daddy.

Thanks for the encouragement about school. I know she'll do fine and blossom, and I know I'll love seeing her grow. I will need lots of prayer until then. Lol.
