Happy Halloween, everyone! It’s a glorious day over here, and I hope it’s just as glorious wherever you are, too. It’s been a long, brutiful week over here, but thankfully, it’s also been a festive one. Now let’s get right down to my current confessions, because we all have candy and treats to eat.
ONE.
Loving…
Halloween, of course! Last night, the hubs was a champ and carved our pumpkins. Charlotte and I watched. She actually ran around like a crazy woman, and I ran around chasing her. Always a hoot and a half. Little Miss Sassy Pants will be going to a couple of houses tonight, and I am so excited. I think I’m so thrilled because this year she’s actually old enough to walk around the neighborhood. Makes me cry a little bit that she’s growing up way faster than I’d like this process to be going, but I’m savoring and loving every minute.
And in case you missed it, my sweet girl is going to be the best little witch I have ever seen. I shared her costume pictures Wednesday, and I also linked up that post with Julie at The Girl in the Red Shoes who is hosting the best Halloween Costume Party Linkup. It’s open until November 6, so if you blog about your little’s costume, be sure to join if you haven’t already.
TWO.
Wearing…
These cat ears! Willow Crowns is the cutest bow and headband shop around, and Charlotte is all about this headband. I’m sure she’ll even be wearing it well after Halloween. Of course, a couple of these pictures are re-shares from Instagram, but do you blame me? And don’t worry. This little kitten is still madly in love with Puppy. ;)
THREE.
{Also} Wearing…
Shop Sugar Bit! These jammies are the most adorable (and softest) PJ’s ever. Natasha, the owner of this online boutique, is wonderful at bringing you the best choices in children’s boutique clothing. If you’ve followed us for long, you’ve heard me rave about Sugar Bit before, but I just had to mention the shop again, because the fall options are darling. And Charlotte is officially a Brand Rep for Sugar Bit, too. Happy dance for that! Right now, a sale is going on for all dresses in the boutique so be sure to check it out. A few of my favorites options on sale are this Charlotte dress, this mustard polka dot dress, and this beautiful Zara dress. You can bet your buttons that Charlie Bear will be wearing those soon.
FOUR.
Thankful for..
Good health. This week my family has had some health issues, but thank the Lord, none of the issues were anything serious. Charlotte is finally getting over the cold I’ve been whining about for the past week and a half, but now she’s teething again, poor baby. However, I’m thankful for the teething because it reminds me that I have a healthy, growing baby girl.
FIVE.
Excited about…
my friend Kari Kampakis‘ book release! I “met” Kari through the wonderful world of blogging, and I am so thankful for her. She is such an awesome encourager, and the words she writes never cease to amaze me. They always leave me feeling inspired and full of hope. She’s also the reason I wrote my 25 Life Lessons I Want My Daughter to Know. So when she asked me if I’d like to get an advance copy of her book, I was thrilled and honored. Y’all, this book is a must-have! If you are a mom period, you’ll want to have this in your book collection. And if you’re a mom to pre-teen or teenage girls, then it’s definitely a must-have times 100. The book launches November 4, but you can pre-order now. Let’s all rally behind 10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know. Many thanks to Kari for being such a courageous truth teller. Here’s a beautiful picture of Kari and her four girls with her new book. Aren’t they all dolls?

And that’s a wrap! Thank you so much for reading, girlfriend. May you have a beautiful weekend and the happiest Halloween!
P.S. Because I love you, be sure to check out the giveaway going on for a $120 Target giftcard. ;) You can find all the details to enter HERE.

Seriously…she is such a doll! I know I say that a lot but I can’t get over how stinking cute she is! So fun. If she showed up at my house to trick or treat I would give her the whole bag…and anything else I could find in the pantry! HA!

Hi Tiffany! So sorry I didn’t see this comment sooner. Aren’t girls the best!? I try to convince myself that having a boy wouldn’t be so bad, but I really would love to have another girl. I guess because I only have a sister, myself. Hope you’re having a great holiday season!
