Oh, hey, Friday! Remember when I used to do these Currently Confessing posts on the regular? Do y’all want to get back to that? The ones where I share five random things that I think y’all need to know or be tuned into? Sure, thing.
ONE.
Oh, January, how I love you and your fresh starts. I wouldn’t mind an entire year of months feeling like January, but with a tad warmer weather. Since fresh starts get me fired up, I made a playlist that makes me want happy and want to work. I know y’all will love it, too, because you all are my people!
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do! I think I’ll start doing these playlists monthly. Music is just too good for the soul.
TWO.
You know when you learn something new and you get super excited about it and just want to scream it from the rooftops? That’s me and essential oils right now. I had no clue that they would have the kind of impact they’ve had on me and my family.
Ever since I battled postpartum depression for the second time in a year this past October, I knew I was ready to do whatever it takes to get me back on track. This year I’m taking my health back and I would be thrilled for you to go on this wellness journey with me.
You want to know my powerhouse cocktail of a happy life: the right meds (when dealing with PPD), the right diet, lots of prayer and faith, and infusing my house with natural mood boosting aromas. Those mood boosting aromas were just a start though.
Now I have so many uses for my essential oils. They help my babies fall asleep faster, help us stay well, curb my appetite, give my skin a glow, calm us down, and I’m slowly phasing out the chemicals in my house and replacing them with all natural products thanks to Young Living. If you’re ready to join the dream team, The Golden Drop Society, I would do the biggest happy dance ever. You can read more about it on the page I just created specifically for essential oils. And please reach out to me if you have any questions or need any help signing up. I can’t wait for you to come oil with us!

THREE.
Oh these sweet children of mine! I am so lucky to be their mama. Do any of you ever look at your kids and think, gosh I’m going to miss this when they grow up? I know I share my struggles with motherhood, because we all know it’s not sunshine and roses 24/7, but when it’s good, it’s so good.
Charlotte is growing to be the best little human I know. She has the kindest heart, the sweetest soul, and the most caring demeanor. Sure she tests my patience because she is my mini-me through and through, but she’s my heart, the one who made me a mama.
Colin just started walking and he is going to be the kid who makes my hair turn white, but gosh, he’s the greatest. I could just eat up his little piggy toes and gobble up his giggles. I could deal with less tantrums at restaurants, but this is just a season, and a far too short one in my opinion.
If I could bottle it all I up, I certainly would.
FOUR.
This cookbook is the absolute best Paleo cookbook I’ve found, y’all! I haven’t tried a bad recipe yet. Thanks to my friend Jan for recommending it!
I was getting kind of bored with Paleo after being pretty consistent about it for 2 full months, but once I opened this bad boy up, meals started to come alive again. I’m five pounds shy of my goal weight, and my next goal is start building back muscles. Twelve pounds down and all the healthiness to go!
FIVE.
Sweaters! In case you missed it, I rounded up my absolute favorite sweaters on the internet right now that need to be in all of our closets. I bet you find one that you love! Let me know if you do! :)
Happy weekend, friend! I hope you get some rest and relaxation in!
Xoxo,
Kristy
