Now everyone sing it with me, IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!! It’s time y’all: Christmas Gift Guide time! We have made our spreadsheet with our budget, who we’re buying for, and what we’re getting everyone, and every year, you all want to know. WHAT DO I GET MY KIDS?
If you have an elementary aged child, you already know, because they’ve probably talked your ear off about what they want from Santa. But if you have a baby, toddler, or pre-schooler, things are always a shoulder shrug. With our kids being three and a half years apart, I’ve found which toys and gifts have been a huge hit, and which toys go straight to the donation pile. So what I’m about to share with you all is the best of the best. I’ll break it down by somewhat by age group, then by price, then add in some stocking stuffer ideas too. I’ll be adding TO THIS POST until it’s completely done, but I wanted to post the big things first!
Some of these will most likely sell out quickly, so hurry on these hot items!

KIDS GIFT GUIDE — THE BIG GIFTS
ONE. L.O.L. Surprise! Winter Disco Chalet Doll House
Charlotte is OBSESSED with anything L.O.L. Surprise! so this house made the top of her list. We snagged this one from Target, and I used a 25% off coupon by texting TOY to 827-438. The offer expires 11/23. This is a HOT ITEM, so do not wait to grab this if your little girl is loving L.O.L. Surprise! items as much as ours.
TWO. Woom 1 Balance Bike
This balance bike is a must for any toddler. Colin has been riding on his for about 6 months (he just turned 3 in September) and he is so close to being able to start riding his big boy bike, his Woom 2. We have used these bikes since Charlotte learned how to ride, and we’ve been a training-wheel-free family because of these.
If your baby isn’t quite ready for that and is still in the toddler days, get this: Lightning McQueen Ride On or the push car version with a handle for mom or dad is equally as good of a gift! The perfect toddler gift there ever was really. Colin loved both of these, and I was so sad when he outgrew them.
THREE. PJ Masks Super Moon Adventure HQ Rocket Playset
Colin LOVES PJ Masks, so this will probably be one of the big gifts from Santa. He honestly loves anything that flies, drives, or makes beep beep noises.
Also a huge request from our three-year-old, Paw Patrol Transforming Mighty Pups Jet Command Center and the Paw Patrol Mighty Twins Power Split Vehicle.
FOUR. L.O.L. Surprise! Amazing Surprise with 14 Dolls, 70+ Surprises & 2 Playset
Back to the L.O.L. Dolls! This set is AMAZING! 14 dolls. 70+ surprises and 2 playsets. Charlotte is going to flip for this! There are so many sets and collections out there, but this is a great deal and a real bang for your buck. This will also most likely sell out quickly, so don’t wait for this!
FIVE. Osmo Genius Kit for Preschoolers // Osmo Genius Kit for 6-10
Last year we got both of our kids iPads. Sometimes the demise of our kids good behavior, but these Osmo Genius Kits are looking to be like our saving grace for iPad usage. They have age-appropriate sets, so I think this will definitely be under the Christmas tree. Learning while playing is a sure winner for everyone.
SIX. Renewable Rubber Wood Castle Play Set
Charlotte has the princess castle from this brand on a much smaller scale, and Colin has become obsessed with it. Even Charlotte still plays with it. This new castle set with knights is going to be a huge favorite from Santa. Colin saw me working on this blog post and would not leave my sight before telling me how much he loved this.
SEVEN. Carrera Disney Pixar Cars Slot Car Racing Track Set
We got this race track for Colin’s birthday, and BOTH of my kids just love it so much. Colin still isn’t old enough to really make it work, but he’s getting there. Charlotte loves it! If your kid is car and racetrack obsessed, this is a great option! Warning, it’s huge but well worth it.
EIGHT. Magna-Tiles
These have been a long-time favorite. We have an off-brand of these, but I don’t think there’s any comparison to the original. I’ll watch for flash sales on this one, because if your kids don’t have this yet, it’s a must.
NINE. James Avery Charm Bracelet + Initial Charm + Mother’s Love Charm
Something I plan on getting Charlotte this year (she’s 6) is a special gift from mom. She begs to wear my jewelry, so I think it’s time she gets herself a charm bracelet. These two charms are the perfect starters.
TEN. Hunter Rain Boots
If your babes don’t have rain boots yet, these are always the perfect gift! They’re easy enough for your littles to put on themselves, and they last forever. I buy a pair every year. Colin even wore Charlotte’s old red and black boots, and it was the most precious thing ever. They run big, so you truly will get your money’s worth.
ELEVEN. Cinemood Portable Movie Projector
This is something fun for the whole family! I have had my eye on these for a while, and this would be perfect for the media room, bedroom, or hotel room. You can play any streamable movie, and it’s the best gift if you’re wanting to do one big all-inclusive gift for all of your kids.
And that’s it for the big gifts! What are your kids asking for this year?
