2. My favorite food is Mexican food (duh) and Italian food. I love food. The end.
3. I am a night owl. I do most of my writing when my loves are sound asleep.
4. Contrary to popular belief since I’m a Starbucks fan, I could live without coffee, but I couldn’t live without sweet tea.
5. Charlotte is my favorite little human on the planet. (As if you didn’t already know.)

6. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University in 2004. How was that over 10 years ago?
7. I was in drill team in high school, a Sandette–the name of our drill team. Go Sandcrabs! I bet your high school didn’t have that fierce of a mascot. (Don’t laugh. But I am.)
Now on to some of my favorite bloggers who have inspired me. I love a ton of bloggers, but these ladies have inspired me to be better in some way and they probably don’t even know it. Each is a beautiful mother and wife who is amazing beyond belief. One of my most favorite things about blogging is the friendships I’ve made and the cool people I’ve met because of it. Whether it was a comment, an amazing blog post, or a new friendship formed, these ladies have made an impact on me…
1. Natasha from Hello! Happiness
Mama to two little ladies who are darling, a Nashville girl, a shop owner to my favorite shop Sugar Bit, and a positive influencer to all, this girl is amazing. She exudes happiness and joy, realness and truth, and I am so thankful to have “met” her.
2. April from A.Liz Adventures
April is another Southern girl who is classy, sassy, and all things fabulous. Her posts always leave me smiling no matter the topic. She’s a working mama, and her little daughter is the cutest thing ever. I love going to April’s blog because I always leave with some life inspiration.
3. Ashley from Words about Waverly
Ashley is a mama to a beautiful little girl. She’s a Fashion Marketing teacher, and you know I have a special place in my heart for high school teachers. She is just as obsessed about her little darling daughter as I am about mine. And that makes me smile.
4. Jess from Sadie Sky Boutique
Jess is another fabulous girl mama. She shares her heart always, and her realness is so refreshing. I love reading all of Jess’s posts because she usually says things that I’m feeling. She and Ashley are responsible for the sweetest linkup, It’s the Little Things, one of the best linkups around. And she’s an Etsy shop owner with the best hair accessories for our little girls.
5. Julie from The Girl in the Red Shoes
I love this girl. She makes me laugh all the time, and I always learn a thing or two from her. She’s a mama to the cutest little boy, and her stories about being a boy mom never disappoint. Her blog stories always make you feel like you’re catching up with an old friend.
6. Chelsea from The Perfect Catch
Heralding from the ever fabulous Houston, Chelsea is another great, working mama to a cutie pie of a son. We both have a love for fashion and all things girly. She is a contributor for the Houston Moms Blog and always shares stories from the heart, along with great mama advice.
7. Tiffanie from Pineapples and Pickles
I met Tiffanie through our hubs because they work together. So when I started blogging, she was one of the very first blogs I started to read. Tiffanie is an amazing working mama to a miracle of a little boy and also to a sweet little girl. She is such an incredible example of what a faith-filled mama looks like. She’s also a contributor to Houston Moms Blog. I don’t know how she does it, but she does such a great job at all she does.
8. Channing & Michelle from Moms Without Answers
Well, you all should know by know that I love these ladies. They are seriously the nicest people, and I am so thankful to know them and have them in my life. Their blog posts are so relatable and always leave me smiling, laughing, and inspired. They inspire me all the time and are never short with the encouragement.
So thank you, ladies. Thank you all for being so fabulous.
Had Tawnya not nominated me, I would definitely have included her on this list. ;) Her blog All of Life’s Little Adventures is one of the best. Two others that I know have already been nominated are Jenna from A Mama Collective and Jessica from Pig & Dac. I had to mention them, because they are some of the best writers I know. And one last blogger turned author whom I adore is Kari Kampakis. If you haven’t seen her work, you must. She is brilliant.
I really could go on and on with a huge list of bloggers who inspire me, but I thought eight is great (plus my additional shout-outs). If you’re viewing my blog’s desktop view, if you look to the right on your screen, you can see a list of all the blogs I love and read daily. So much goodness going on in the blog world right now. I’m so grateful to be part of this community.
Are there any fun facts I need to know about you? Any favorite bloggers that I have failed to mention? As always, share the love in the comments.

Love this Kristy! I hope to meet you in "real life" soon at an HMB event. I LOVE that you were a sandcrab! I worked at HBU for 5 years in admissions and Port Lavaca was part of my territory so I visited your high school every year and always ended up with some great students from there. Thank you so much for the kind words. I love our blogging community so much and look forward to another 6 months of your blog! Hope to see you soon.

I hope so too Chelsea! :)
That is so awesome that you were in admissions. I had considered working in admissions at one point, but went the teacher route. Sounds like a fun job! Oh, Sandcrabs. They're pretty great people.
And you are so very welcome. I love going to your blog! You always inspire with style and great mama tips. I'm pretty sure we will meet soon. ;)
