Happy early Easter! I’m posting this one early because I’ll be stepping away for the weekend and basking in the glorious holiday that celebrates LIFE after death. Can I get an Amen?
Easter is one of my favorite holidays of the year and ranks right up there with Christmas. So we celebrate with church, family, and the Easter bunny. This year, Charlotte’s Easter basket kind of cascaded into two baskets. Sorry not sorry. In them are little things she can eat, play with, read, and wear.
Some bunny is really loved. Let’s take a peek into what’s inside the baskets, shall we?
ONE.
But first, let’s take a look at her beloved bunny basket that we got her last year and that we will use for years to come. It’s from Pottery Barn Kids, and we’ve never been disappointed with any holiday purchases from there. Maybe next year we’ll go for the big basket.
INSIDE THE BASKET
TWO.
Things to eat and drink: Annie’s Friends Bunny Grahams and a new Frozen tumbler
She loves the graham bunnies and of course is obsessed with “Zozen,” and straws, too. It’s been hard to keep these out of sight. I know she’ll love both!
THREE.
Things to play with: sidewalk chalk, Fubbles bubbles, Doc McStuffins Stethoscope set, and a new bunny
I’m really excited about the Doc McStuffins stethoscope. She is loving “Stuffins” so much right now. And since we’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors with all the beautiful spring weather that I’m sure we’ll have, the sidewalk chalk and bubbles are sure to be a hit.
FOUR.
We all know how much sister girl LOVES books, so I know she’ll adore these three. We actually have a version of each already, but the Easter editions seemed too cute to pass up. The touch and feel Biscuit books are definitely a favorite, too.
FIVE.
Things to wear: yellow tee, blue jean shorts // pink bow tee, gingham shorts // strawberry tee, pink gingham shorts
Charlotte has been growing so quickly these days. All of her clothes are starting to get a little tight and a little short. I’ve had to go up to 3T in play clothes, because they go through the washer and dryer quite a bit, and that means things shrink a little. Will there ever be a time when she’s not outgrowing her clothes quicker than quick? These little spring outfits are perfect for her basket.
It was fun putting together this year’s basket, because she is definitely more aware of what’s going on with holidays now. Everything this year was from Target, which made shopping a breeze. I can’t wait until she sees all of her little goodies on Saturday when we have our family Easter egg hunt!
And because I’m feeling nostalgic, here’s last year’s Easter basket, just because.
And since I wasn’t blogging when Charlotte experienced her very first Easter, I have to share a few pictures from her first Easter basket, when she was just two months old. I may or may not have cried pulling these pictures up. Because holy hot smokes has my baby grown, and man, how time has flown!
This day was also the very first time she went outside to sit on the grass. She was not a fan of the sun or the grass. Girly girl since day one.
And these pictures definitely warrant a CAN’T EVEN.
Happy Easter, friends! I hope you have the most wonderful holiday with family and friends. What’s going in your little bunny’s basket?
Let’s keep in touch…

Why do they grow so fast?! :( I know what you mean about saving them. I was going through Charlotte’s closet thinking I need to get rid of some her clothes because they are so stained. Hope you guys loved Easter as much as we did!
