Have you ever wondered what it’s like for other mamas in the morning? It’s okay if you’ve wondered, because aren’t we all just looking for ways to say, “You do that? Me too!” Being a new contributor to Houston Moms Blog definitely has its perks, and one of the best ones so far was being able to have photographer Karen Jacot come and photograph a day in the life, morning edition. The series on Houston Moms Blog is called “Before 8AM.” I thought I didn’t qualify because technically our mornings start between 7 and 8. Thankfully, it’s just a title, and Karen made it work for us. Here are some outtakes from our morning that you won’t see on Houston Moms Blog (because I couldn’t feasibly use all 100 pictures from the shoot all in one place)…

When I first saw these photos, I immediately thought of you because I think it’s so similar to your style. And I’m so glad she included Chapman! He was loving every minute of it. I love being able to stay home, and these pictures clearly depict why. :)
