This weekend we celebrated Charlotte’s birthday with all of our family and a few of our best friends. My little muffin had a ball and is loved more than she knows. I had so much fun planning this year’s birthday party. Obviously, Little Miss loves Frozen. It’s her favorite movie, and she loves the characters. However, I’m not really into making birthday parties cartoonish just yet. I’m sure it will happen one day, but until then, classy and simple it will be.
After seeing The Ivory Lane create a beautiful Frozen party months ago, I knew a chic Frozen theme was exactly what I wanted Charlotte’s second birthday party to be. It was then confirmed when Sugar Bit sent us the perfect dress. After that, I quickly started party planning. I had to refer back to my party planning post, and then, “for the first time in forever,” we had a ball. (Warning: picture overload.)
I couldn’t have put this sweet party together without my family’s help. My sister is a party decorator extraordinaire. She has a knack for making parties look just perfectly, and I appreciate her more than she knows. And of course, we are so thankful for all of the family who drove hours to be with us, and the friends who helped make this day so special, too. The hubs and I are so grateful for each and every person in our life who loves our special girl as much as we do.

I started the party planning by having the invitations designed first. I partnered with Morgan again from Abbie Lee Design + Paperie to create the perfect ones. She designed Charlotte’s Charlotte’s Web themed invitations for her first birthday party, and I loved them so much I just had to have her make these. I had an idea in my head both times, and since she is the best listener, she came up with exactly what I had envisioned and then some.
