I know some people use the simple method of “something you need, something you want, something to read, and something to wear.” But honestly, our Little Miss doesn’t NEED anything. The girl has everything thanks to last Christmas and her first birthday. You can see what I’m working with in our playroom/living room here. And just what does an almost two-year old really want? What I do know is what this little girl loves, and I do know what I think she’ll get use out of. Some of these items she already has, and some of them I’m sure she’ll love come Christmas morning. Here’s my version of the best Christmas wish list in case you need some gift ideas for your little toddler girl.
1. Pottery Barn Kids Anywhere Chair
Love this chair! Charlotte received this for her birthday, and she absolutely uses it and loves it. You can even order a new slip cover should you ever need to, because they do sell them separately. You can monogram and find the perfect fabric on Pottery Barn’s website.
2. Lamb Plush Rocker
Charlotte also got this for her birthday. It was a special gift from her great-grandparents, and it wasn’t until she turned about 15 months that she started playing with this. She learned how to climb onto it and ride it on her own just recently. She pulls it out of her room and really goes to town.
About a month ago, the hubs went out and bought this for Charlotte because she recently learned how to slide down a slide. And she loved it of course. This is the perfect indoor activity center because it’s not too huge, and it just never gets old to her. This would make for a great Santa gift!
At our local toy store, this little music maker is on display, and Little Miss sat down and started pounding away at the keys. I knew immediately that she would love it as a gift. Grandma will be getting this one. ;)
I didn’t measure these dolls, and they are already wrapped, but they are precious and said to be 20 inches long. They are sold out at the Disney Store, but I found them on Amazon. The price only seems to be going up and up so act quickly if you really want them. I purchased the set for 50 dollars which is a steal compared to EBay prices right now. Are they authentic Disney products? I’m not 100% sure. They came with Disney tags, but the tags are questionable. However, I know Charlotte will love them. She is just in love with Frozen, and these soft dolls are going to be a hit. She loves babies, soft stuffed animals, and Anna and Elsa. If you are looking for Sven, Kristoff, and Olaf, you can find them on Amazon, too. I just may order the rest of the crew. But an added FYI, Sven and Olaf can still be found at the Disney Store.
We are all about the board books in our house. When your baby chews on everything, they are the best invention ever. But once they start growing a little bit and aren’t nibbling on anything in sight, hard cover books are the new big girl thing. I think it’s time we start our collection, and I think Fancy Nancy is one of the first ones we shall start with. I’m also thinking of getting Flora and the Flamingo.
This isn’t the first time I’ve mentioned Color Wonder products here on the blog, because they are fabulous! For those of you who are new to the concept, it’s a colorless maker that makes color on only special Color Wonder paper. Amazing! Charlotte has a new obsession with coloring, so we go through Color Wonder coloring books quickly. She’ll be getting this Frozen edition. Don’t forget to order the mini-markers set if you order any of the coloring books. We have two sets of the markers.
Another thing Little Miss loves are puzzles. I love these Melissa & Doug peg puzzles, and I love that it comes in a set. It is a steal! We’ll be working on learning letters, numbers, and colors soon, so these are perfect.
And one last thing. These boots. This little girl’s daddy loves to spoil her, and he was quick to hunt these puppies down when he realized they sold them in mini sizes. (They were actually on my wish list first.) Looks like we’ll be twinning soon.
And that’s about it! I think that is more than enough options, don’t you? What is a Santa gift that your little girl (or boy) will be getting this year?

Love the suggestions! We have a rocking elephant at our house that my daughter got as a homecoming present and 2.5 kids later, it’s still going strong. Another toy that might be good for your daughter (a stocking stuffer maybe?) would be the Melissa and Doug Scratch Off Boards. We discovered these on a road trip recently and even my notoriously hard-to-entertain 2-year-old son loved them. They come with a little stylus and if you’re worried about that being sharp, you can use just about anything else to scratch out pictures.

Ooh, I will have to look into that! We love Melissa & Doug in our house. Charlotte is loving coloring right now, so I’m sure she’d love that. And of course I’m always looking for things to entertain her on our road trips, too!

Fancy Nancy! Lily is loving her lately. Those books are just so gosh darn long, haha! Love that plush rocking lamb. Oh and I’m pretty positive I know which toy store you’re referring to! ;)

Amanda, we must have a play date if we are that close! That is too funny about the book. Sometimes I just make up my own story when a book is extra long. Lol. Hope you’re feeling well these days! :)

Oh we totally should! That would be fun! We totally make up our own story. We use to skip pages, but she caught on to that. I am feeling well! Thank you!!

Awww! I love this Christmas gift wish list! Such cute choices. The lamb rocker is awesome. My parents got my oldest daughter one for her first Christmas (except it was a horse) and it got so much use between my two girls! They love that thing!
Thanks for sharing.

We love the rocking horse. One of my favourite pictures of my oldest daughters is her dressed in a chicken costume riding her rocking horse. Awesome!
