With so much sadness and grief going on in the world right

Oprah. Either would have worked.

4. I was in a sorority in college. Go Chi O!
5. I double majored in English and Public Relations. I never
planned on being a teacher, but my last semester in college, I had an epiphany
in one of my capstone English classes: I never wanted to part ways with
English. I knew I wanted to help people, so I thought teaching it to teenagers
would be so much fun. And it was for nine whole years. I miss it dearly, but I
wouldn’t trade my current gig for anything. I also have a master’s degree in
Education Administration because it was a deal I made with my dad when I
decided to become a teacher. He thought I would need more than just a teaching
degree. Maybe one day I’ll put it to use.

8. I never wear lotion, even though I have about 500 hundred
bottles of it. My skin will probably hate me forever. (I do, however,
moisturize my face…sort of, if BB cream counts.) And with that, my least
favorite gifts are scented lotions. I’m very particular about scents. I have
the nose of a Blood Hound.

there ever was. Some of my faves are JT

momiform is a JCrew tshirt, shorts or jeans, flip flops or
flats, and a baseball cap.

I loved this post; it's definitely in my top three because it moved me so much. Not only was it wonderfully written but it even made me chuckle. You also posted some great pictures–such amazing memories we've shared together. More importantly it made me realize how much I love you and it reminded me just how much God has blessed me. I can't thank God enough for everything I've seen or experienced first-hand, and I can't thank Him enough for you and our Charlotte. God is great. – MJ

Pretty sure we should be BFF's, hang out in our jammies and listen to John Mayer! Those are definitely some of my favorite books too. I haven't picked up the new book by the author of The Shack, but I'm dying to. Loved this post!
kristyvmoreno@gmail.com says
Girl, that sounds like a great day! I have the new book, and it's been in my Nook for a while now. I just need to make the time to read it…along with about 10 other books I have in there, too. Thanks so much for stopping by, new BFF! Lol. :)

I literally have that exact same pic of John Mayer playing his guitar on the ground and snapping his strings. He puts on such a good show. Love love love his music! And Granny has the best quotes on Downton. ☺️
kristyvmoreno@gmail.com says
We probably were at the same concert! That picture was at his Battle Studies tour a few years ago at the Toyota Center. I saw him last summer in The Woodlands, and he always makes my heart swoon.
Granny is the best! Her zingers make the show. ;)
Traci says
Yep. Same concert! That was my favorite picture I snapped but it can't take the award for favorite moment because that was when he busted into "Ain't No Sunshine." Holla. We were living in Baton Rouge for his last tour so we saw him in New Orleans in December. He makes my heart swoon, too, girl.

These are great! I love a sarcastic sense of humor, too. I haven't seen any of Frozen. I try to avoid kid movies if at all possible, but I have heard it's good! :)
kristyvmoreno@gmail.com says
Thanks, friend! I am in the phase of I cannot get away from kid movies even if I tried. I think I know every song being sung on Disney Jr. Honestly, I thought I wouldn't like Frozen, but surprisingly, I loved it. :)

My husband and I went to Kauai for our honeymoon… I swear it is truly paradise there!
I'm an office supply addict! I could spend hours in an office supply store. I just love pens, planners, organizers, etc. I'm a bit type A too *wink*.
Thanks for sharing (and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop).
Wishing you a lovely weekend.

I love this post!!! So glad you shared today. These sorts of things are so fun – I love learning little snippets and fun facts like your favorite vacation spots, your desire to write a novel (awesome), and that you don’t wear lotion either… I wish I did! But I can’t bring myself to put it on after the shower and then I feel like it gets everywhere later? Yuck. xo

I love this post!!! I think it’s so fun!! And so cool that you want to write a book!!! What kind of book would you write?
I’m so glad I got know you better through this post!! ;)
Something you don’t know about me…I went to school with intentions of getting into med school. So I took 3.5 years of pre-med then switched and took my bachelors of nursing. So with all that school, I could have been an MD!!
Tawnya Faust says
Whaaat? I didn’t even know this about you, Alycia!! :) haha that’s so true… tough pill to swallow but aren’t you glad you’re not a doctor now after seeing what kind of hours they work? ;)

LOL you are seriously so hilarious, I would love to meet you in real life, I know you’d make me laugh so much lol. The Invisalign struggle is real over here too!!! Can’t believe I endured all those years with braces and then didn’t wear my dumb retainer. But your teeth look so straight!!

How have I not read this post already?! It just solidifies how awesome I think you are and I just learned so much about you! I can’t believe you don’t wear lotion, I religiously wear lotion, but probably because I live on a dry prairie! I also have multiple dimples (on my face) two on one cheek, and one on the other AND I had to wear braces all through high school (the worst) and I didn’t wear my retainer…
We seriously need to meet… You are just such a beautiful soul, inside and out! I can’t wait to read that book when you do write it one day! xo
