Last Christmas, Charlotte was 10 months old. It was pretty perfect if you ask me. But when it came to shopping for baby toys for her first Christmas, I was at a loss. I didn’t know what to get, so I asked one of my best mama friends to help me out. She gave me tons of toy ideas that she knew were awesome through experience, and now I’m happy to share. These gift ideas are the absolute best. Charlotte received every single one of these toys (we have a huge family) and loved them all. Now at 22 months old, she still plays with every single one. Each one is educational and will grow with your child. Here’s the list, and each one is linked to the lowest priced website as of December 1, 2014. You’re welcome!
I’m also adding the recommended ages for each toy, but Charlotte started playing with everything when she got them at 10 months old. She only becomes more and more interested the older she gets.
1. Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Home (6-36 months). You can find the newest version of this toy here.
3. Fisher-Price Little People A to Z Learning Zoo Playset (2-5 years). Charlotte loved this at 10 months old, just an FYI.
5. Fisher-Price Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace (18 months-5 years). Little boy option is the Magic of Disney Day at Disney.
6. LeapFrog My Pal Violet (6-36 months) Scout, the green, gender neutral version, can be found here.
7. Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Say Please Tea Set (6-36 months). Something similar to this for a little boy would be this Laugh & Learn Puppy’s Dump Truck.
8. LeapFrog Animal Adventure Learning Table (6-36 months). Charlotte received the purple version of this, but you can use this as a floor toy or with the legs of the table when your baby learns to stand.
9. LeapFrog Shapes & Sharing Picnic Basket (6-36 months). A gender neutral option could be this Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Kitchen.
10. Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Magical Music Mirror (6-36 months). A little boy option could be this Fisher-Price Smart Train.
11. VTech Sit-to-Stand Alphabet Train (12-24 months). Charlotte has the pink version found here.
Feel free to send this list along to your family members to help you and your baby out. Happy December!

This is an awesome list! I would agree. My girls have alot of these and still play with them equally at 9 months and 2.5 years.

Thanks! I thought we would be putting some away by this point, but she still loves everything. I’ll just continue to have a toy land in here, I guess. Lol.

I’ll keep these in mind!

Thanks for stopping by Mariel. These really are Charlotte’s favorites. :) I’m so glad they have grown with her.

I love the tea party set! Super cute:)

Oh, it is the cutest one I’ve found! It talks and says “More please” in an English accent and says “please” and “thank you.” It also makes a pouring sound. Charlotte is fascinated by it.

These are great! I love the Fisher Price Little People. Last year I got my son some little superheroes for his first Christmas, and this year I got my daughter (even though she is only 3-months-old) some princesses! Yay Little People!
Kristy says
Thanks, Chelsea! I don’t know what it is about Little People, but they are everyone’s favorite. I wanted to get more, but apparently what we have is good. ;)

I love all these ideas..as I mentioned to you on Instagram.. My daughter would LOVE the vanity.. I may wait until her second bday though and get her a bigger one she can sit at ;)
Kristy says
Thanks, Lauren! The vanity is too cute. Charlotte loves the pouf. I would love to get her a real vanity but our house is at maximum capacity right now. Lol.
