Star Spangled Kids Link Up: My Little Firecracker

Happy July first! My oh my, can you believe half the year is gone?

July 4th is one of those holidays for me that I’ve always loved. I used to spend it down by the water on a boat getting a nice golden tan, but then I moved to the city, got married, and had a baby; things have changed up a bit. However, Charlotte makes everything more fun these days. I am thrilled to be celebrating another holiday with my fancy little lady. This is our third 4th of July together, and I have loved dressing her in her red, white, and blue each year. Last year at this exact time, she was taking her first steps, and now I can’t stop her from running. Where does the time go?

It was fun getting these pictures done early, because I’m sure we’ll be plenty busy this weekend, and she won’t want to sit still for a hot second when things are going on around her. You know, like fireworks. I’m lucky she cooperated this past weekend. So for good record keeping sake, here’s my mini in all her Americana glory.

For the second year in a row, Charlotte’s 4th of July outfit has come from Sugar Bit. Shoes are from Gap Kids. And silver bow is from Willow Crowns. Her navy bow is from a boutique around town just attached to her silver bow. We fancy.

  1. She is precious!!! Love that dress! I hadn’t even thought about 4th of July outfits until Monday, so off to Tar-jay we went! I guess I’ll photograph them some time this week! Haha. This is a cute link up! Will it still be open Friday? Will probably link up then.
